Many new owners of the Alienware m15x gaming notebook have run into performance issues with their new rigs. It appears that the GPU will overheat after a certain period of time and then underclock to keep cool, resulting in a less than stellar gaming experience. Alienware indicates they’ve reached the root of the problem and it can be fixed with a Bios update that is now in beta testing.
